Dr Qamar-uddin Siddiqui is one of the senior most physicians of Karachi. He has treated thousands of patients in his illustrious career. Apart from being a consultant family physician, he has keen interest in Orthopaedics and Gastroenterology. He is one of the founder member of Karachi National Hospital. He has been the chairman Board of Directors of Karachi National Hospital since it was established in 1985.

Professor Khurshid Jehan Noorani qualified from the University of Sindh. After receiving basic and postgraduate training in Obstetric and Gynaecology both in Liaquat Medical College and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, she received postgraduate training in urology and general surgery in Northern General Hospital Sheffield. She also received her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the University College Hospital London.
On her return from the UK she joined as an Assistant Professor Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Nawabshah Medical College. She was appointed as Professor, initially at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) and then at Dow Medical University of Health Sciences Karachi.In 1996 Professor Noorani was promoted as the head of the department of Obstetric and Gynaecology at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre (JPMC) Karachi, She has also held the post Dean faculty of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Dean Collage of Physician and Surgeon of Pakistan. Professor Khurshid Noorani has vast experience in Laparoscopic and Hysteroscopic surgery. For several years she has been specifically involved in the treatment of urinary fistulae in women and is an authority in the management of urinary fistulae in Pakistan. In 1985, She became the director of Karachi National Hospital and at present she is working as consultant of obstetrician and gynaecologist. Professor Khurshid is at present working as the Dean faculty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at College of physicians and surgeons Pakistan.
Professor. Maqsood Anwar Noorani

Professor Maqsood Anwar Noorani qualified from the University of Sindh in 1967. After receiving basic and postgraduate training in surgery both in Pakistan and England, he was appointed as Professorof surgery, initially at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) and then at Dow Medical University of Health Sciences Karachi.
Professor Noorani has been associated with Surgery and its allied specialties since last 44 years. He has vast experience in General Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery and Endo-urology. For the last 24 years he has been involved in the management of chronic renal failure patients, this includes the creation of their Vascular Access and Renal Replacement Therapy. He has enormous experience in both live & cadaveric transplantation. He has performed more than 1000 live transplants including, several re-transplantation and paediatric transplants. Professor Noorani has worked as consultant transplant and general surgeon at The Royal London Hospital Whitechapel and Churchill Hospital Oxford UK. He has also work for several years as consultant transplant and general surgeon in Hammersmith Hospital London. He is a member of International Society of Urological Surgeons, BAUS and British Transplant Society. He is also Fellow of The Royal Society of Medicine. Professor Noorani is a fellow of Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
